2007

Our debut event took place last year on 11th May, at Swan Valley School, and raised £670 for Orchid, which was pretty good as we organised this event within a few weeks. 

We had two great shows, one by Lee and Shelley and a comedy routine by Pete and Amanda, both shows were a great hit.  Lee and Shelley stepped in and took the top class as Tamambo was unfortunately delayed, due to problems with his Satelite Navigation system directing him to the wrong place, this also affected many people who also tried to attend the event.

Dave Dow was our DJ for the evening and kept the dance floor moving, with various styles of salsa music, including bachata, merengue, cha cha, and he will be spinning his discs for us again this year.  

There were lessons for all levels, intermediate/advanced by Lee and Shelley, improver plus taken by Jayne from Salsa Sensation and Improver level taken by Sarah from Salsa at Sidcup, beginners were taken by myself, Janet. 

A big thank you to all those who supported us in 2007.

2008

This years event on the 9th May, also at Swan Valley School, raised £450, again for Orchid, unfortunately attendance wasn't as good as we had hoped, but we managed to raise some money and the atmosphere was great.  Frank Santos and Natalie put on a great Bachata show.

Although this 2008's event wasn't the success we hoped we have already started working on the next party night.

2010

20th Feb, this event was held at Bexley Park Sports and Social Club, a great venue, we raised £674 for Orchid.  The atmosphere was brilliant and all had a great time.  Our thanks to Leon and his assistant Jenny and to Angie and John who took the beginners class.  DJ Dave the Diamond Geezer kept the floor alive with his great choice of tracks.
